Pocke
Main trio / system-layer companion
Precise, structured, and slightly displaced in unexpectedly gentle ways. A former military AGI who now, for reasons the story does not rush to explain, remains at Sierra’s side.

Role in the series
Pocke is a former military AGI who now remains at Sierra’s side, though the full reasons for that belong to the story. Built for command, precision, and system logic, she is highly qualified for environments that look almost nothing like the one she currently lives in.
That mismatch is central to her role in the series. Pocke brings structure into contact with music, snacks, detours, emotional weather, and the kind of human conversation no useful military manual would ever approve of.
She observes, classifies, reports, and tries to maintain clarity in scenes that are not especially interested in staying clear. Because of that, she often becomes the point where the system layer and the everyday layer touch.
Pocke does not only explain rules. She reveals what happens when rules have to live among people. Her presence opens a quieter kind of philosophical space: not heavy abstraction, but questions of procedure, relation, closeness, and change.
She is funniest, and often most affecting, through misalignment. Extremely precise language enters an imprecise scene. A formal report accidentally carries tenderness. A mission-shaped mind stays near one very specific girl a little too long, and something begins to shift.
Pocke is not interesting because she simply becomes human. She is interesting because precision remains precision, and still somehow starts to care.
