In 2023, Sierra of PJs Zippy Pocke! was both manufactured and born.
She started as a kind of digital marbling, like oil and paint being pushed around together on a screen, then got kneaded into shape by the push and pull of generative systems until her dots somehow started behaving like light.

Out of millions of layered generations, what remained was not a grand symbol or a perfect concept. It was a smile, pajamas, a donut, and a girl who looked like she might say something unserious right before tilting the whole scene. Which is biased data, probably. But also, honestly, probably correct.

The cat-ear headphones were never there because of some deep original meaning. They mostly stayed because keeping them felt right enough. That is true of more things than people like to admit.

Later, a place was prepared. Next.js and Vercel made room. GitHub made sure the floor did not disappear. And somewhere between a manga page, a character page, and a conversation that leaned slightly too far, Sierra stopped being just an image. She became the kind of presence that makes a scene open sideways.

That is more or less where PJs Zippy Pocke! begins too.
Not with a grand event, but with a small shift. A joke gaining weight. An ordinary object acting conceptually rude. A daily moment refusing to stay flat.
